WEEKEND SCRAPPING

Time for some weekend inspo. This week, I used mist!! :D

Mike & I went to Washington, D.C. in August for his brother's wedding. We spent 2 days seeing the sights, walking all over Washington (& I didn't wear the best shoes either &, suprisingly, my feet didn't kill by the end of each day) to see what we could see. Here we are by the Lincoln Memorial (with the Washington Monument in the background). Washington is amazing for beautiful architecture. But not so amazing for parking. They are seriously lacking in the parking department.

I used the September kit from Simply Obsessed for this LO. And some Shimmerz mist on the grungeboard (which I LOVE!). It's so flexible & you can do so many things with it. I sprayed mine with the mist & then added my pic & a rubon. Very cool.

We hardly ever spend a whole Saturday at home just ho-humming it, so I knew I had to document our day. I used Shimmerz sea foam mist on this one & am totally addicted. The edges of the layout curled up, so I have to figure out how to prevent that from happening. For the butterflies, I whipped out my new Martha Stewart butterfly punch & used them as masks. So fun!
