WEEKEND INSPO

Here are a couple of LO's I finished up to inspire you for the weekend :)

I love Sassafras. They come up with the cutest paper collections year after year. I thought these little monters went perfectly with my little monster. Noah loves to dress up & this is his favorite get-up. He's such a silly little boy :) I used 2 sheets from the Monstrosity line to complete this - the monster cutouts, pleated flower, & folded border under the pics are from one sheet of their fun paper. The background & pieces that frame the photos are from another sheet (I love that Sass includes cute borders on the bottom of their papers so you can incorporate them into your LO's).

The banner was super easy to make. Just cut out triangles from cardstock, top them with your letters, add a small piece of tied ribbon between each triangle (hold them down with a glue dot), add some cute monster cut outs to the ends & it's done!

The pleated flower & pleated border were fun to make. When making the pleated border, I tried to make it so the monsters were peeking out of the pleats. And I cut out some cute monsters again & grouped them above & behind the flower (more peeking monsters - I love it!)

I titled this LO "Live & Dream". I caught Noah trying to climb up on the fireplace using his daddy's shoe. It was just too cute not to take a picture of him. I wanted this LO to have a roughed up feel so I used some brown burlap & cardboard to start with. Then I added some fun paper by Scrap Within Reach. I am in love with their papers. They have such great boy stuff!

I layered a bunch of goodies from my scrappy stash for the top part of the title. I included notebook paper & a little fabric heart just for fun.

This is the bottom half of the title. The rubberband border is held down with Crystal Effects glue from Stampin' Up! & some brads complete the look. Then I punched out small circles all along the border & tore each circle open with a paper piercing tool (to mimic the notebook paper on the top of the LO) .

Have a super fun & scrappy weekend!!
