new wheels

We've been busy replacing inner tubes on all the bikes this weekend. I've always been one to pass that responsibility to my mom - who is very handy with many things. But this weekend, we decided to bite the bullet & do it ourselves. By Monday night we'll be ridin' fools :)

I took my bike (given to me by a sweet friend over a year ago) for a test drive & found that the front rim was bent. It was a very wobbly ride. So we went to the very expensive bike shop in town & bought a new one. I'm hoping some regular riding will help me fit into a size 10 soon. Oh yeah, that would absolutely make my $45 rim worth it.
