I've been juicing lemons and oranges this week, trying to get it all into the freezer before spring arrives. Fruit trees hit their peak in January & February around these parts. A friendly neighbor always offers lemons off her tree (as many as we can pick & lug back across the street) and my mom & step-dad bring us bags of oranges from their property. I just love the smell of fresh juice.

PS - Have a lovely weekend. I'm planning on baking cupcakes with my kids & relaxing. Oh, & my oldest boy is turning 9. Yipee!
