It was a lovely weekend - perfect for grilling hot dogs & running in the hose. The kids were begging to play in the blow up pool but the sun was setting fast, so we improvised. The Mr. got out the hose & sprayed the kids after we let them roast marshmellows over the hot coals (a favorite summer treat). We purchased skewers last year (at Walmart, I think) that don't have sharp ends - perfectly safe for our little ones' fingers.
Poor Mr. had to keep telling the kids to stop running. Our concrete is super slippery when wet. But they ignored his warnings with every pass. Of course ;)
