around the house

It is cozy in our old brick house.   Simple things make life a little sweeter.   I suddenly realized we won't be in this house forever and will miss the memories we've made here.  We honestly thought we'd be in our home forever.  At least until our old & retired days.  But it was not meant to be.  It seems Heavenly Father has other plans for us.  So for now, I am trying to soak it all in - the few things we've hung on the walls because we bought a fixer-upper that was never fully fixed up, the bits of crumbs that blanket the floor under Noah's chair at the dinner table after every meal, the love for vintage we've gained since we bought a vintage home.  It will all seem so surreal when we are making our way to the East coast.  I hope that day comes soon.   It will be a whole new adventure completely.   An adventure I am completely ready for.
