pinterest[ing]//summer activities for the kiddos

Hello friends.  It's Friday again.  This week flew by.....how did that happen??  I'm hangin' out with my little man today watching Nacho Libre.  That movie is full of great 1-liners.  "Maybe it's time for me to get a better doodie."  Ha!  We are busy making layered jell-o for dinner guests & enjoying the aroma of chicken in the crockpot.  I love having a reason to make a slightly fancier-than-normal meal.

I'm finally wrapping my head around the fact that summer is here & I thought it would be fun to share some things I look forward to trying with the kiddos.  Pinterest is full of great ideas & here are a handful of pinterest[ing] ideas that will make some fun summer memories.

1.  hallway yarn maze

2.  handmade hovercraft for the boys

3.  confetti popper rockets for the 4th of July

4.  cook up some yummy strawberry shortcake kabobs on the grill

5.  start our very first square foot garden

Between library visits, day trips and lots of card playing, our summer is going to be very full.  And of course there is always Family Movie Night to look forward to too.  I am totally counting down the days till the kids get out of school next week.

What fun things do you have planned for the summer?

Have a fabulous weekend!

PS - I hinted at a new calling in my last post, so I can spill the beans since it is official now.  I'm the Relief Society President.  Yep, you read that right girls ;)
