basketball cupcakes

Carter's team deserved a little something sweet after losing their first playoff game to some tough competition.  I brought along these basketball cupcakes to pass out to the boys after the game.  The Mr. told me later that the all the moms commented on how cute they were just before they were snarfed down by the boys.  Well, thanks to a white cake box mix, a homemade frosting recipe my grandma & mom taught me when I was younger, some Wilton food coloring & licorice strings, these cupcakes made the boys dribble....I mean, drool.
